Mets launch Netflix-style ticket subscription deal

Now you can binge watch the Mets right at Citi Field.

Baseball is going the way of the big screen with a new Netflix-style subscription deal that lets Mets fans score standing-room-only access to nearly every regular season home game.

For $39 a month, anyone with an iPhone or Android can sign up for the app-based program and download mobile tickets to 78 games this season — even at the last minute, a rep for the team told The Post. Baseball buffs then scan their mobile tickets at the gate.

“The program is targeted to the millennial demographic and unconventional audiences. It’s a great way to gain access to Citi Field at a low cost,” said Chris Zaber, the Mets’ senior vice president of ticket sales. “Even if you come to three games a month, it’s a great deal.”

He added, “Citi Field has a lot of great options for standing-room-only ticket holders. There’s the Shea Bridge and there are great food offerings. There are a lot of fun things to see and do.”

Folks with the so-called Amazin’ Mets Pass, which auto-renews every month, can also upgrade to seated tickets on weekdays.

Die-hard Amazin’ fans called the deal a home run.

“This is legendary,” baseball buff Eli Krauss cheered on the team’s Facebook page.

Another observer said, “Excellent deal! I already bought mine!”

But some folks refused to plunk down cash for the subscription until the team improves on its 77-85 2018 record.

“I think you should offer seats because no one wants to stand to see them lose,” one fan slammed.

The only other catch? It doesn’t include in-demand games on their home opener, April 4, and for two games with the New York Yankees on July 2-3. Users are also not allowed to buy more than six subscriptions each.

Similar tech-savvy deals have been launched by the Cardinals and the Twins in recent years.
